The Upper White River Basin Foundation is currently working in partnership with the James River Basin Partnership on the Water Quality Improvement Project: Implementing Innovative Conservation Design for Stormwater Management in the Ozarks (WQIP). Designed to educate the development and real estate community, this project promotes conservation design in stormwater management. WQIP is collaborating with Green Circle Projects on a new retail shopping center located in Springfield, Missouri—the first low-impact retail d velopment in the region.
Project development is currently underway. Expected completion date is Winter 2008.
The Ozarks Environmental and Water Resources Institute (OEWRI) is conducting the Data Gap analysis for this project. For the most current findings, please visit the OEWRI site.
